I often want to take a beautiful experience with me, and painting is the way to do it. My paintbox has joined me on many trips around my native Sweden as well as abroad.

I usually start the painting on location and finish it at home, sometimes with a photo reference at hand and always trying to render the light and movement so that the viewer feels present on the scene. 

I want my paintings to be snapshots that tell a story and relate a mood rather than being monumental depictions.
